Click on the below opportunities to find out more – if we haven’t got anything listed, we still want to talk. Get in contact with the form underneath to introduce yourself and say hello.
Step 2... We will invite you to Interview us – the team call it an ‘Interview with a twist’ which can take place via Teams, Zoom or the telephone. What is the interview with a twist with one of our Hiring Managers all about? At GetMyFirstJob it is important to us that you have the opportunity to get a feel for what it would be like to work with us, so during the interview you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about the role or working with us, before you devote your time and energy to continuing your application to become one of the team.
Step 3... We will invite you to a formal interview with the hiring manager and one of our Heads of Department via Teams, Zoom or the telephone. During the interview we will ask you questions based around motivation and how you could use your strengths to meet the requirements of the role. We will also explore how you could demonstrate behaviours that align to our core team values. The interview will take approximately 60 minutes and don’t forget you will have already had the opportunity to find out about the role and what is important to the team.
Just a few of the benefits of working for GetMyFirstJob
25 days holiday plus bank holidays! Our holiday year runs from 1st January to 31st December and if your birthday is on a weekday, we give you that day off too! We like to think of it as a ‘Me day’.
All our team work remotely and meet together regularly via Teams. Occasional travel to team or client meetings may be necessary. We cover travel and accommodation costs.
Our team receive £26 per month tax-free home working allowance, which helps contribute to utility costs, telephone line rental and broadband.
Like all things at GetMyFirstJob and TheTalentPeople, we like to find the role that is right for team members that wish to develop themselves or try different roles. So, we offer a wide range of development opportunities through coaching, bespoke training, and the ability to work across different teams within the business.
We have weekly Company Updates via Zoom where each team shares the highlights of the week.
Our team are enrolled in the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) autoenrollment pension scheme, after three months of joining us. We will pay a contribution of 3% of their annual salary per month and our team members are required to make a 5% contribution payment of their annual salary.
All teams get together twice a year to work through future company plans and include time to socialise! All travel, meals and accommodation are all covered by us. Those members who prefer not to travel can dial in remotely to the meeting.
We allow our team to take part in up to two days of volunteering a year. These days aren’t taken out of their annual leave entitlement.
We give our team up to £200 a year allowance to use for their home office, making sure they have a comfortable and effective working environment. We provide all IT equipment needed in addition to this allowance.
Our team have access to a 24hr helpline service for physical and emotional support provided by qualified counsellors. Face to Face counselling sessions and discounts on wellbeing products and days out.
That means, when the company does well, society does well. We value our impact on society as much as our financial performance. As well as the impact we make through work we also have a charity of the year and as a team we arrange fund raising events inside and outside of work to support the chosen charity.
Be part of an organisation that makes a difference…
Take ownership, do what needs to be done; the outcome matters.
By working together and holding each other to account we succeed.
We listen, learn, confront issues and champion feedback to achieve change.
We are brave; we challenge with humility based on expertise, insight and networks.
We’re ambitious for individuals, partners and ourselves.
Whether we have opportunities available or not, we are always looking for exciting new people to join the team. Share your details and we’ll be in touch.
